JVC has announced the launch of a cutting-edge series of 43”, 50”, 55” and 65” Frameless QLED 4K HDR Android TV devices. Set to deliver a combination of enriched content and exceptional picture quality, the series brings with it all the advantages of Quantum Dot (QLED) technology, providing brilliant colour vibrancy, image detail, and contrast. With a vastly extended, and more nuanced colour range, the TVs offer strikingly accurate colours that retain their vibrancy, even in the brightest scenes.
QLED Technology
Designed to support over 90% of the DC1-P3 colour gamut, the Quantum Dot Android TV devices provide astonishing levels of colour and image accuracy. Offering a vast range of up to one billion colours, they bring the on-screen picture to life, enabling colours, such as deep reds and greens to be more realistically and powerfully displayed in exactly the right shades and hues. The TVs’ boosted brightness and colour range also provide more clarity, depth, and definition, allowing image detail to be highlighted in light as well as dark scenes.
Android TV
With Android TV OS, the series offers an easier way to the entertainment you love. Access 400,000+ movies and shows from across streaming services including Disney+, HBO, Netflix, Prime Video, and Twitch. Users can download all their favourite apps and games from Google Play and cast photos, videos, and music from smart devices to their TV with Chromecast built-in™.
To streamline the search for content, the Discover Tab on Android TV OS provides personalised, tailor-made entertainment recommendations, based on the kind of movies and shows that viewers have watched before. The Frameless QLED series features Google Assistant, so users can do more on their TV with their voice. By pressing the Google Assistant button on the remote, users can ask Google to search for shows, get recommendations to match their mood, control their TV, manage tasks, and even have it dim the lights by connecting smart home devices.
Cinema-at-Home Experience
Whatever the on-screen content, the premium finish, frameless big screen TVs work to create a cinema-at-home experience. Fully immersing viewers in the on-screen action, they draw viewers in with ultra-sharp, crisp and life-like Ultra HD 4K resolution, as well as the extraordinary colour, contrast, and brightness that Dolby Vision HDR brings to the screen. For an impressive audio performance, each of the TV’s built-in speakers and subwoofers combine with DTS technology to deliver dynamic, rich, and all-encompassing sound.
Picture Technologies
To maximise the viewing experience, the TVs offer additional features to enhance the picture quality of content in all resolutions. With a series of high-powered image processing technologies, they upscale and refine Full HD, HD, and SD imagery with the Super Resolution feature, and optimise the dynamic contrast ratio with Micro Dimming.
Designed to build on the picture quality of different types of content, the TVs also come with specific viewing modes, which includes Film Mode for movies, Games Mode for gaming, and Sports Mode for sports action.
Now available in Spain, Italy, Germany, Poland, Romania and Czech Republic*, the range will expand to include a 70” screen size in September.
